Mudman Indiana

Jackson participated in Mudman Indiana this weekend...twice, because he liked it sooo much! He has done two Warrior Dash events in Illinois but really liked the authenticity of this event which was a 5K obstacle course on the grounds of the Fraternal Order of Police for Delaware County. They had to run through a creek (not just across it), climb rope and ring a bell, through the mud pit, up and over steep hills that needed rope to pull yourself up, across the monkey bars, over the confidence wall, etc., etc., etc. - looked crazy hard! He suffered some minor rope burn on his legs (pulled the hair off) and several bruises and cuts. We missed the event on Friday evening but he was more than willing to do it again on Sunday!

Mya's 16th Birthday

Wow! Can't believe she is 16 years old!

Mya's 16th birthday landed on Easter Sunday this year so she needed to share her day with Jesus! 

I don't think she really minded! :) 

We celebrated Easter with church, breakfast, and baskets until noon... 

and then it was her birthday!

 We have an overnight shopping trip planned for later in the month with some girlfriends so it was just dinner of her choice at home. She chose crab legs! It was our first attempt at crab legs at home...and I think she was pretty happy!
